Course Description

What makes a stadium more than just a building? The greatest stadiums in the world are not simply structures for sport, they are the heart of a community. They host football finals and orchestras, shelter people during emergencies, and become symbols of civic pride. In this 6 week course, students become architects, designing and constructing an original stadium and its surrounding community from the ground up.

Working as a collaborative studio, just like a real architecture firm, students will research iconic stadiums and Olympic parks, apply design thinking to plan a multi-use community space, and learn to 3D model their ideas in Tinkercad. Individual and paired design elements will be brought together into a single, ambitious build inside Minecraf. This course blends real-world architectural practice with digital fabrication and collaborative world-building.
