Designing with Nature

The field of BioDesign explores how nature's designs inspire human innovation. In this course, students will study biological structures-from bones to butterfly wings-and processses translating them into creative and functional devices, materials, and solutions. The course will combine interactive discussions with hands-on making, concluding in a final design engineering project where students work collaboratively to prototype nature-inspired design solutions for the real world with 3D modeling.
