Frankenstein

Step into the strange and thrilling world of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein to explore one of the biggest questions of all: just because we can create something, does that mean we should? On this course, students will explore the science and big ideas of the Romantic Age, then dream up an invention of their own. Who might it help? What could go wrong? And who should take responsibility? Through storytelling, ethical dilemmas and creative challenges, students will explore why the questions at the heart of the world’s first science fiction novel feel more urgent than ever in a time of AI and fast-moving tech.
