From Pixels to Product: Designing with Math, Science & Sublimation
Date: Friday, October 23th
Ages: 8-10
Time: 10 Am-12Pm
In this hands-on Halloween-themed workshop, students will design and create their very own personalized Trick-or-Treat bags using dye sublimation printing. This workshop combines digital design, material exploration, and creative storytelling, offering students the opportunity to turn their spooky ideas into a usable, wearable product.
Students will explore how dye sublimation allows them to transfer digital art onto fabric tote bags. They will then infuse their bags with personal flair, choosing themes like ghosts, pumpkins, eerie forests, candy monsters, or characters from their own imaginations.
The process encourages learners to see how technology and art intersect, while also fostering reflection through peer critique and iteration.
