Deep Ocean Camp

Ages: 8-12

This week-long camp explores the deep ocean as a space for scientific discovery, creative design, and mechanical invention. Mornings focus on investigating extreme underwater environments and building imagined underwater gardens, while afternoons shift to studying deep-sea creatures and translating their movement into mechanical systems using cam mechanisms. As the week progresses, students integrate these elements into a cohesive ecosystem. The camp culminates in a dynamic, student-built underwater world that combines environment, motion, and storytelling.
