Carnival Engineering

This week-long camp explores carnival as a space for cultural expression, creative design, and mechanical invention, inspired by the energy and traditions of Notting Hill Carnival. Mornings focus on designing and building vibrant carnival environments—costumes, model floats, and visual elements—while afternoons shift to engineering movement and interaction through mechanisms. As the week progresses, students draw from rhythm, motion, and celebration to develop kinetic elements that bring their creations to life.
